Strategy 2015–22

In 2015, MuirMcNeil designed and produced two brochures for The University of the Arts London’s Strategy 2015-22. Having decided on a typographic solution, we started to investigate the development of a bespoke generative typeface to represent flexibility, growth and dynamic change within the organisation and to contrast with the University’s corporate type, Helvetica. But when we came across Typotheque’s Julien, we knew we needed to look no further. Printed in silver, gunmetal and neon yellow, Julien appropriately pays homage to early modern design history while automatically outputting its letters in wildly randomised configurations.
